Up early for our Monday dog walk with my neighbor Jean. We both noticed that we get our walks done about 30 minutes sooner since we don’t have Timmy walking with us anymore. Poor little guy. He walked really slowly and he wanted to stop and smell every bush and every light post.
After breakfast, I went over to Sam’s Club. Seems like every time I go there I spend at least $100 and I don’t buy a lot of items, but I buy my supplements there and they cost more. I like to get them there because I get a lot more for the money I spend.
Came home and paid some bills and then watched Y&R.
After lunch, Hiker and I went over to Central Park for an afternoon walk. The weather was beautiful. It was a little breezy, but not real windy like it was yesterday. I took Hiker into “Central Bark”, the dog park they have there. There were about 2 or 3 other dogs in the fenced area. I took her leash off of her, but she doesn’t go more than about 5 feet away from me. A couple of the dogs came over and sniffed her and as soon as they did, she was ready to leave. She likes to greet other dogs, but she is still pretty shy around them just like she is around people she doesn’t know. Jean says it’s because she is an “only child”.
Hiker has this new thing she does now. Started about 2 weeks ago. Whenever we go somewhere in the car, when we get home, she doesn’t want to get out of the car. I back into the garage and I unhook her from the seatbelt, but she just sits there and looks at me. I even tell her “bye” and close the car door and go into the house for a few minutes and when I come back out to get her, I still have to coax her out of the car. I don’t know what that is all about.
Got up into the mid 70’s here today and the wind made the sky so blue.

Hiker apparently likes to go for rides and doesn't want them to end. Sweet thing. Wish I had your temps. Going into the teens tonight here.
