Had our Monday dog walk with Jean and her dogs and let the dogs have a play date in my yard for about 30 minutes or so. Had to do some housework this morning, which I loathe. Sometimes I think about getting a maid service but then I tell myself that doing my own cleaning is exercise and good for me. After lunch, Hiker and I went over to the Iron Horse Trail for an afternoon walk. We are supposed to have rain on Wednesday. Won't believe it until I see it.
I loathe housework too, Kay. Sheesh.... I'd do anything to not have to do it but... as my Mama always used to say: "It's the maid's day off, Annie, so I guess we have to clean today!". *haha* She'd say the same thing about the dishes: "The lady who usually does the dishes has the flu today, honey, so I guess we'd better get at them!" :-)
ReplyDeleteThe sky is so beautiful in that picture of you & Hiker... as are you & Hiker too! I love seeing pictures of where people live & what their "neck of the woods" looks like. I wonder why other places always look better than my own?!!
