Up early for our Friday morning dog walk with Jean. Hiker and Schnorkie were chasing each other all of my yard after the walk. I’m so glad they have bonded.
Made a couple of poached eggs for breakfast…one for me on an English Muffin and one for Hiker in her dog dish. She loves eggs, but then she will eat just about anything I put in front of her.
After breakfast, we headed over to Jean’s house so Jean could give Hiker and bath and I decided to have her shave Hiker a little since Hiker is shedding so badly. I didn’t have Jean shave Hiker “bald” like I do in the hot summer months. I think Hiker was glad to get some of that hair off of her body because she looked very happy after it was all done.
Didn’t do much else the rest of the day except catch up on my email and Facebook peeps.
Got my results back from my Bone Density test. Says I have a condition called Osteopenia or low bone mass. It’s not Osteoporosis, but I guess it can lead to it as I age. My doctor already has me on extra Calcium and Vitamin D3, but I emailed him to see if there is anything else I should do at this time.
It was strange, right after I got the results in the mail, I got a call from Kaiser. I didn’t recognize the number, so I did not answer, so they left a voicemail. I checked my voicemail and I could not understand the person very well, but she left a number for me to call and told me to ask for Connie. She said she had some questions for me. I called the number back and got transferred and there was a person named Connie there, but she said she had not contacted me and they had no record of me ever visiting their department. So I guess I will just wait and see if they call back.
Was warm here again. Got up to 88° on my patio.

ReplyDeleteHiker looks great. It's always nice to get a hair cut. Glad her and Schnorkie are now good friends. Those poached eggs sound yummy.
