Hiker and I were up early again this morning. Even though I kept waking up during the night, we were up at 6 am. For some reason, I had trouble falling asleep and once I did, I kept waking up. I woke up around 1 am and didn’t go back to sleep until almost 3 am. I just turned on the TV and eventually it lulled me back to sleep.
We left the house around 7 am and drove over to Central Park to walk around on some of the trails and through the main part of the park. There were actually quite a few people there with dogs, plus other walkers and joggers, and the maintenance crew was there working on the lawns.
We did just under 2 miles again then headed back home.
The rest of the day, we just hung out in the house. I watched Y&R, made some lunch and then I did some housework.
Was a beautiful day outside. Hiker spent a lot of time in the back yard, especially while I was using the vacuum.
Heard that there have already been 2 brush fires, but not near me. They have us on a “red flag warning” due to the lack of rain and now we are having Santa Ana Winds.

HI, I didn't sleep well when we were recently on vacation in GA... Don't know why--but I was just wide awake BOTH nights... Then, getting back home yesterday and getting to sleep in my own bed was wonderful. Slept all night long!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you and Hiker had a good hike today... We had rain here. I spent the afternoon with a friend I hadn't seen in awhile. That was FUN.

Hiker looks like she is in her element out there on the trail. I know how frustrating it can be to get back to sleep once it's been interrupted. On Y&R Victor is getting on my last nerve with his shenanigans. Suspension of disbelief only works so long. I agree with you Kyle is up to no good. I think he set up Sharon. Time will tell. The way the writing is I would not be surprised if CBS cancels it.
