Beautiful morning when Hiker and I went out for a 1.8 mile walk this morning. Wanted to get the walk done before I headed over to Sam's Club for some shopping. Why does everything cost so much at the grocery store? Now I need to go over to the bank and get some more cash. After lunch I took Hiker over to Central Park and we hiked up the trail behind the park to the big water tank. It was 85° and we hiked 1.64 miles. Not a long hike, but the views were nice. When we got home I opened the sliding doors and the front door and Hiker stretched out on the hardwood floor I the entry in front of the door. Guess she was pooped.
Hello Kay-
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't know why prices have to keep rising!! Wow 85 degrees that sounds wonderful!! It was around 45 for the high here today. I'm glad that you are feeling better than you were a week or so ago!! Have a wonderful evening Kay!!
Sounds like a nice hike for you and Hiker! The weather is like summer there, we are in the 40's here and that is a warm day lately. I can not wait for spring and summer. Take care and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great day....and great weather....
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a shame what it cost for everything now days ... I just got home from picking up some things at the dollar store (bandages, toothpaste, laundry soap and a few other misc.) and it cost $30.00 and it all fit in one little plastic bag! Outrageous ... and the grocery stores are highway robbery ... especially in my neck of the woods. We are at least an hours drive to the closest chain store and the merchants in our little town have you where the hair is short! There ought to be a law.
