Got up at 6 am and did our dog walk with Jean. We had breakfast and then Keith and I headed out to check out some stores. We went to Game Stop and I bought a “We Love Golf” game for my Wii console and we went over to Wal-Mart where I bought a sweatshirt for when (and if) we ever get some cool weather. Keith bought another shirt while we were there. Came back by home to check on Hiker and then headed to In & Out Burger for lunch, but the parking lot was jammed and we noticed that the line inside was all the way to the door. So we left there and went to Mighty Mouth Burger for lunch instead. They are like the “original” Tommy's Burger. Came back home and stayed. Keith has been trying to finish up some contractual work that he did for the company he used to work for. It got up to 100° here today. They keep saying we are going to start cooling down some, but I don't know if I believe it or not. This morning when we did our dog walk, it was nice and cool. Too bad we didn't plan to go for a hike. Oh well.
It's so hard for me to imagine it being hot, Kay, since it's so cool now here in northern Indiana. But I'm glad our cool weather is upon us because the heat just does not agree with me. It makes my blood pressure skyrocket! "They" say we're going to have a particularly harsh winter this year, in our area. We'll have to wait & see.
