Thursday Afternoon

After Ben left for work this morning, I drove over to the community of Bridgeport where I love to walk because they have a man-made lake there which attracts ducks, geese, herons, etc. It's very pretty there and so peaceful in the morning.

A Canadian Goose Family, Papa, Mama and about 6 or 8 little ones

There were about 6 little ones in this "pile"

Have no idea what kind of flower this was but it was so beautiful I had to photograph it

The guys in the community showed up this afternoon to put the cement footings down for our new patio cover, so it looks like they will start building it tomorrow or Saturday.
