Once again you guys do not seem to amaze me. You all knew that the "What Is It #11" was a tree branch with fungus/mushrooms growing on it. It was a downed tree along the Placerita Waterfall trail.
I love looking this stuff up, Kay. My library of references are shelved next to me, and I use them all the time, especially the Audubon Society Field Guidebooks...love them. I even take them on hikes and in the boat, camping, to the cabin. The Grandloves are also getting pretty quick to identify plants, flowers, trees, birds and mushrooms.
