This morning the space shuttle Atlantis landed out at Edwards AFB which is about 100 miles north of us. When it lands in SoCal, we can always hear the sonic booms and usually they are really loud and shake the house and rattle the windows, but this morning, they were not very loud at all. I went out in our front yard with my Flip Video Cam to record the sound of the sonic booms. Below is the video. You will have to turn your computer sound up to 100 to really hear the sonic booms.

  1. What a great post to share that with us. It's nice to see and hear you and what a lovely yard you have. The daylilies are so bright and cheerful.
