Heatwave

Most of you have probably heard by now that Los Angeles is having an extreme heatwave. Yesterday it was 113 degrees in downtown Los Angeles which broke the "all time" record for high temperature there. Here in the Santa Clarita Valley, we hit 109 degrees. It's strange because we are usually hotter than downtown L.A.

It's supposed to be a little bit cooler today. Santa Clarita is supposed to be 106 degrees. BIG DEAL...3 degrees cooler. To me, anything over 80 degrees is too hot.

I went out at 7:30 am for my morning walk to beat the heat. It was a little cloudy, so we will probably have some humidity today. We usually have dry heat.

  1. Hi Kay, I'm trying to catch up on blogs... Big Job.. ha

I do remember the Nelson family.... I used to watch them on TV all of the time...

Hope you all keep that heat out there --and pray that it doesn't come east. We finally are having some real Fall weather --and I don't want it to get hot here again... I do feel sorry for you all... Doesn't feel much like fall, does it????
    Hugs,
    Betsy
