Do You Remember The Ronettes?

Veronica (Ronnie) Bennett Spector (born 1943), her sister Estelle Bennett born (1941) and their cousin Nedra Talley (born 1946) were The Ronettes.
They began to sing together in Manhattan, NY.
Their grandmother entered them in a talent show contest at the Apollo Theater in 1959, which they won.
They had many hits during their career with the biggest being "Be My Baby".
Ronnie married Phil Spector the record producer.
Estelle passed away in 2009.
Ronnie is still in the business.

  1. Yes----I definitely remember that song---but don't remember much about the group itself.

    Thanks for sharing.
