Kay, what a nice picture!! Yes, I do believe that Ben is watching down and seeing you and Hiker, even though he isn't down here with you anymore. I think often of my dad looking down at me and my family, even though he isn't here with me. Its hard not having someone you love and someone who has known you for a long time not be there anymore. But God has a special plan for you. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, and you feel Ben's and God's presence around you and the love from your friends and family.
