Didn’t get out of bed until 8:00 this morning. This damn hot weather makes me so sleepy and make me so lazy that I just do not want to do anything but sleep. It just takes all of the energy out of me. Some of my friends and neighbors have said it is doing the same thing to them.
Didn’t do anything today except sit on the sofa and watch TV. A couple of times I even dozed off while doing that.
I think it’s getting to Hiker also. She doesn’t even want to go outside unless absolutely necessary. When she does go outside to potty, she comes right back in instead of lying out in the yard like she does when it is cooler weather.
Was 106° here at 2:00 pm. Next week we are supposed to be back down into the 80s. I sure hope that is true.
Oh gosh that is hot. I don't blame you for wanting to stay inside. The temps are better here these days. It's really not been too hot the last couple of summers. Thank goodness. Our leaves are starting to turn in spots. This excites me so much!
